Sandepa Dhar recently shares a story about dealing with refusal in industry and how she fought for its roles.
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, SandePa opened about dealing with rejection in this industry. She believes that talent eventually talks about herself and that exceptional actors are photographed regardless of external factors. Using om Puri as an example, it has confirmed that strong offers outweigh the surface provisions.
Koncona Sen Sena also highlighted as an ideal example, which was built with her exceptional acting skills. She noted that although Dharma Productions is known for her charming films, Konkona was filmed because of her talent. She confirmed that in the end, strong offers are more important than appearance.
Sandepa has also expressed her desire to work in brave raw films such as Anurag Kashib, which are often in rural environments. However, it faces TypeCasting because of its appearance. It believes in transformation through fashion, makeup and design, and urged at least to test film makers before making a decision on a role.
Sandepa participated that she had to fight for roles, including persuading Abhai makers that she could photograph a policeman despite her small frame. She admitted that many opportunities in the industry depend on the links, but continue to press for roles based on merit instead of the background.
