A pedestrian was killed after a police car was injured, while the police responded to the report of a man with “knives”.
The man announced in his forties at the scene of the accident in Birmingham.
A noticeable police car participated in the collision on the Yardley road, near the Florence Road junction in Aquox Green before 7 pm.
Police officers are believed to attend a report submitted by 999 invitations on the Warwick Road at Acocks Green at the time.
The family of the man who died by specialized officers is supported.
West Midlands police were in contact with the police behavior office and also confirmed the involvement of two officers.
They were not in a collision.
Anyone with information or dashcam clips has been urged to progress.
“Anyone with information, including Dashcam or other shots, was asked to contact us at 101 or a direct chat, citing 4726 record of March 19,” said a force spokesman.
“Other officers attended the man’s report with knives, but there was no sign of any disturbance upon arrival.”
